GUI (Graphical User Interface) is the system by which, a user becomes able to deal with electronic devices. Microsoft has produced brilliant trends in the GUI of Windows 7. This theory has been approved that Microsoft wants to give a breakthrough in the form of the next operating system called Windows 8.
Lots of users have noticed that Microsoft really improved the features of GUI in Windows 7. Now, father of software is looking to bring 3D touch in Widows 8. Various rumors have been reported that Windows 8 or Windows 8 alpha will be available in separate interfaces, i.e. 32 bit and 64 bit. Code name "Wind" has been associated with new GUI project. So, the new GUI will also demand higher hardware for its functioning. According to sources, 170 MB memory card will be required for this lovely GUI.

However, it's still unclear that which interface will support heavy features of the new GUI. The proof of the preparation of the new GUI also came from NVIDIA's Quadro 265 driver, which has been released recently. This driver contains a new kernel number for Windows 8, which is 6.2.
Ron George is an ex-team member of Microsoft, who has worked on previous NUI and GUI projects, has confirmed in his interview with a site that new GUI will surely support the 3D display.

The most amazing thing will be the voice control. It has been confirmed officially that new operating system will include the voice commanding system in it. Now, users will be able to command their computers with the help of their voice. That really sounds great. It seems like Microsoft is looking to remove hardware like the keyboard and mouse from the future computers. So, computer lovers have to wait for 2012 to see new generation of GUI in Windows 8.
